Social Responsibility
As a church we focus on:
Love Our Neighbour
This ministry exists to love on our city and make a difference by showing kindness and demonstrating the love of Jesus through meeting practical needs. We desire to bring help and hope to people in need, and see our city transformed. In Matthew 5:13-16, we are called to be the 'salt of the earth' and to make a difference in our city and every area of society. We call this ministry “Love Our Neighbour”. The activities below have been birthed out of the hearts of ENC people, many during significant historical events in our city eg. the long earthquake season and the tragic racist induced terror shooting. These opportunities are just the beginning for us as a church. We believe God has called us to bring transformation to our city and we’re committed to continue to seek His heart for our beautiful city of Christchurch - the city that shines.
